
Spicy Garlic Miso Pork Belly

Ingredients:
- 3 lb. slab pork belly
- 1 tsp Sao Noi Lemongrass Chili Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 c miso paste
- 4 tsp hot water
- 3 tbsp rice wine
- 1 tbsp honey
- 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- green onion, chopped or sliced (for garnish)
- sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Slice pork belly into 1/4-in. strips and place in medium mixing bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine miso paste, hot water, sesame oil, chili oil, garlic, and honey and mix until even. Add into pork belly.
- Add rice wine to pork belly and with both hands, mix all ingredients until combined. Let pork belly marinade for at least 30 minutes (preferably overnight) in the fridge.
- Remove from fridge and place pork belly strips in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each side until evenly browned, or at least 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove from heat and top with sesame seeds and green onion. Enjoy with rice!
